The Big Ditch is a lovely, quiet spot for reflection. It is peaceful and beautiful, with a good path for strolling on. I love to ride my bike there and recover!

Not impressive. Basically it's a drainage ditch through the downtown. The day we were there, there was a lot of trash and debris in the drainage and just nasty little puddles in the ditch. We had a hard time even finding the entrance to it....More

Crazy story about how this park came to be. Really shocking to stand above it and imagine water just wiping out an entire street!

Beautiful, shady treasure. Upriver end a bit tacky and iffy, but main area through town is wonderful. A few picnic table would be great in that part.

We strolled through here yesterday morning. It's scenic, in it's own way and there is some very interesting and nice art on the walls fronting the old main street. However, there was a bit of litter down in the river/ditch and a few unsavory individuals...More

It's unfortunate that this park is treated as a refuse depository. In the center of historic Silver City, it could be so much more. This park is a strong candidate for a volunteer program to pick up trash and removal of tree debris. The positive:...More

Right in the heart of downtown, this is a great spot. Nice little walking trails and a very peaceful environment to hang out in. Enjoyable and somewhat well maintained (on a Sunday there was a lot of trash but not so much on Thursday when...More
