Frieda was the most fantastic guide. I cannot recommend this tour more highly. Frieda is fun & informative. She shared her story & the life she led and chose to bravely leave. Frieda shared her knowledge of how life is expected to be lived in...More

We were curious about traditional Jewish culture and Frieda captured our fascination right from the start. Walking amongst the community and seeing the dress, etiquette and daily lifestyle first hand while listening to Frieda explain it...was a culture shock and enthralling. Frieda's honesty and respect...More

Stepping in to the Hasidic part of Williamsburg was like stepping in to a whole different country. The people were all dressed in traditional Hasidic clothes, there were no smartphones and the children were playing in the middle of the street. The Kaparot Ceremony had...More

Fascinating journey into a community that usually doesn't want to be exposed to the outside world. Frieda does it in such a loving, respectful way, that we got a glimpse into a world that appears to be from another era. She is knowledgeable both on...More

The only time we really sat was in the Restaurant at the end of the tour. If washroom is an issue there were not any stops where we had washroom facilities!
