It's a monument with water fountain in front of it. It is located near one of the gates of prospect park.

The plaza includes the Soldiers' and Sailors' Arch which is fascinating, it reminds me of Europe. The Bailey Fountain, the John F. Kennedy Monument, statues of Civil War generals Gouverneur K. Warren and Henry Warner Slocum are incredible if you're a fan. If you've never...More

When I first encountered Grand Army Plaza, I cursed the designer of the traffic flow. It is not easy for the new comer. The arch itself is eye catching. I find the plaza underwhelming. On the South side, in season, there is a robust farmer's...More

A great monument, near the botanical. I think it's more a monument in passing than something that was an exclusively one to visit, unless you were American citizen. Near the park, the botanic, the museum.

The memorial at Grand Army Plaza is impressive. It is a hub of activity and very busy during the good weather. The traffic can be intense as this is a true crossroads of Brooklyn.

A beautiful park and arch. Centrally location within steps of the Brooklyn Public Library and the Brooklyn Museum. Also a short walk from trendy Park Slope with all it's restaurants.
