The rides themselves are fine, typical travel carnival style and prices are reasonable for location. However, there are scam artists there manning the games section who aggressively approach people and try to scam them. It’ll typically go like this. They’ll come over blocking your way, and aggressively push the game. They’ll give you a free shot. And then they’ll give you a ball, and when you pick it up, they’ll mutter something like “$20 per ball.” When I heard I stopped and said no thanks. Then he tried to demand $20 for the free throw. I cried BS you said free. And then like clockwork his fellow worker walks over from his booth so far that they couldn’t have hear us and backs up his buddy. I just ended up just paying. Having read the reviews it looks like this has been going on for years. Disgusting that park management allows this and presumably endorsed it since those games are on their property. Bigger shame is that the police have not arrested these scammers but hey, welcome to NYC.…

I enjoyed a good few hours in and around the park, the ride itself was also pretty cool, and the staff were nice and friendly.

the only ride we went on in Coney Island. I thought $10 a ticket was a lot but it did have great views. When they ask if you want swinging cars or stationary, know the answer ahead of time. Stationary cars go higher, swinging cars swing a lot. They rock back and forth and it's a bit like a roller coaster. I though I would puke but instead I just cried a little.…

I guess gone are the days that these rides are a few dollars a piece, That being said the rides were clean and fun and the evening enjoyable. I wish they would clearly indicate what rides are included and overview there locations as there are three parks in the area and they are easily confusable as you walk between them.We enjoyed the evening but done expect it to be cheap…

We had a disgusting customer service experience at Coney Island/Luna Park/Wonder Wheel. We were given "comp credits" because a ride broke down while we were in line. We than added more credits in cash so that we could use them on either Wonder Wheel or Cyclone. At Wonder Wheel and Cyclone, we were told that the comp credits don't work. We tried speaking to an associate AND her manager, only to be told that neither had the authority to refund us and that we would have to wait in Guest Services. There was an obscene line in Guest Services, probably with people with similar issues, so we decided to just leave. I truly hate to use this word but this entire experience leads me to believe that Coney Island/Luna Park/Wonder Wheel in general is a scam. They basically stole our money by making it extremely difficult to get our money back even if the issues at hand are not our fault (i.e. broken rides, comp credits not being accepted, asking for a refund). We plan to stop charges for the credits purchased for the broken ride but we probably can never get back our cash. Coney Island/Luna Park/Wonder Wheel, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for making it so difficult to get back a measley $20 altogether. You will never have my business or recommendations ever again.…
