Huge homes, almost all architecturally unique, i.e, very few alike. Massive sycamore trees, with gnarly tree trunks. And, when we were there, gigantic rhododendron bushes in full bloom. Ditmas Park includes several Q Line subway stops. There is an excellent commercial strip on Cortelyou Road,...More

Wonderful place for a long walk, easily accessible by subway, great for trick-or treating on Halloween or for admiring beautiful houses when the flowers bloom in spring.

Wonderful neighborhood of victorian homes. They're not palatial (except by NYC apartment standards), but for most Americans, used to new houses, it's a fascinating walk. Check out the Tibetan restaurant at the subway. It's very plain, but delicious!!
