A sweet small coffee shop in the heart of the neighborhood on a side street. Great place to pop in for a coffee or tea to takeout or as we did, sat outside on the benches on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Great coffee and tea. Lovely service as well.

Stopped by with a friend for an evening pick me up coffee before we headed to a thanksgiving dinner. Atmosphere is very cool, service is quick, but coffee leaves something to be desired. I won't be back.

Well, we stayed only 1 week in NY and we had no time to hang around tasting every espresso over there... But, as italian that loves espresso, i can surely say it's the best espresso i tasted in ny. It should be considered also a good one in Italy. A side note, 3$ for an espresso is a standard price... More

Coffee was excellent in a very neat "industrial-style" setting. It is expensive and there is a wait since every cup is brewed individually. Bit of a "scene" there with hipsters mixed with tourists and regular folks. People who worked there know their stuff or certainly fooled my wife and me! Don't ask a question about the coffee unless you want... More

The service is horrible - it took almost 15 minutes to get served, despite there only being 2 people ahead of us. (And we were the last.) Finally when we were served, we were offered no apology for the delay, and to top it all off, it was one of the WORST tasting latte's I had on my trip. Definitely... More

I've been here a few times and these guys know what they are doing and everything they do is very good. Sure, you may not be into the intensity of the flavor (roasts are acidic and the coffee very strong here), but I've had mainly espresso drinks (macchiatto, cappuccino and mocha) and they were always excellent, and beautifully made (a... My son raved about the coffee @ Blue Bottle, so my husband and friends checked it out on a trip to NY. The coffee was like a work of art. Worth the trip, especially if you love coffee.

Bitter, over-roasted coffee that tastes burnt and has the consistency of mud, served up by holier than though servers (really just college students acting like they were imported from the Bay Area). I avoid this place whenever I'm in San Francisco (to avoid the tourists) and here in NY, it's no exception. If you buy their beans, make their coffee... More

I've been to Blue bottle many times and have had many great experiences... Workers are nice... Coffee is good and fresh... It's in a funky area... All that doesn't matter to me anymore because of what my husband noticed the last time we went which was around December 6, 2012. Where they take care of the drip coffee the young... More
