Had breakfast here on a weekday morning (while on holiday) and everything seemed pretty quiet, however returning here on a Friday night showed a completely different side to the area. There are so many cool bars, restaurants and cafes that you will be spoilt for choice if you visit. It's good for shopping if you tire easily of the department... More

Williamsburg pretty much is one of my favorites spots in Brooklyn. A place so eclectic thanks to the different bars-restaurants you can frequent. Always amazed at the cool small places I find in every visit I make.

Greenpoint used to be my favorite part of Brooklyn but now that I've dined around Williamsburg, I must say I have a new favorite. Lots of choices and all very reasonably priced and easy to get into. Parking can be tough, but so was Greenpoint. For polish food, Greenpoint was the best, but for variety, I pick Williamsburg. Parks, restaurants,... More

Williamsburg is a well known Brooklyn neighborhood that is synonymous with gentrification, which for many is a negative. However, if you're able to put aside the social stigma for an evening, Williamsburg is a great place for cuisine, shopping and chilling out! From brunch to a late night snack, this nabe has got it all. As for as shopping goes,... More

I loved this neighborhood so much on a past visit to Brooklyn I decided to move here. It's one of the fastest growing, hip neighborhoods in Brooklyn with fantastic restaurants, nightclubs, cafes, street art, and amazing views of Manhattan from across the river.

Honestly we passed through the neighbourhood to see how is the lifestyle of Jewish living in New York. It's shocking to see all the advertisements in Hebrew and its people with such odd clothes and hairstyiling. It deserves a walk!

This is a nice area to stroll and do some shopping or just window shopping. Some stores are small and crowded on Sunday afternoon. Quite a few vintage stores, lots of interesting things.

We loved visiting Williamsburg from Manhattan - much quieter and calmer and more interesting streets. Everyone we met in shops, bars and restaurants were really nice too - far friendlier and more approachable than in Manhattan.

Came to help our daughter move to new apartment in Williamsburg. Love exploring this area. Wonderful variety of shops and restaurants that welcome everyone! Delighted that our daughter has a place in middle of it all! Look forward to future visits in better weather. I do not recommend visiting in December unless you love the cold and snow, etc.
