Not a ton to say here, but I was very happy with my journey. The Ferry leaves from Wall Street Pier and will drop you off in multiple locations in Brooklyn. There are some great views of the Manhattan skyline from the water. A one way fare is $4.00, so for a little bit more than the subway, the views... More

We took the ERF from Williamsburg to DUMBO, after going to Smorgasburg. Since public transportation in Brooklyn going towards DUMBO wasn't as convenient, it was either using UBER or ERF. I figured this would be more of a fun experience for my son. We waited about 45 min for the next ferry. You can easily purchase tickets there. There were... More

For a fast experience of the New York skyline take this ferry to Williamsburg. It is only 6 dollars.

Very affordable tour on public ferry, giving the best views on Manhattan during more than 30 minutes. Would redo it every time.

This is quick and cheap way to move from lower Manhattan (near the Helicopter rides) to the 34th street near the United Nation buildings. Takes people every 30 minutes. Very nice views from the ferry. I recommend to take the camera. Sunsets and sunrises are very good for taking pictures. In April, during the evening hours, was very windy, so... More

After seeing the sunset over Manhattan from Brooklyn, it was great to see the views from the boat as well as getting back to midtown quickly. You need to buy a ticket before you board or via an app, though they do let you buy on board if you really have/need to!

The East River Ferry runs from 34th street in Manhattan to Wall Street with stops in Long Island City, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, and Brooklyn Heights. For just $4 on week days and $6 on weekends, this has to be one of the most spectacular things that one can do when visiting the Big Apple. You will see most of the key... More

Simply an amazing way to see NYC from the water and a fraction of the cost of other tours on the river

Used the ferry to get to Brooklyn to start our walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. Weather wasn't great, cold and windy, but the ferry was comfortable and stable.

.... too expensive, especially as there are no discounts and it doesn't connect with MTA system. So using it adds $8 to my daily commute. Also, most trips only go once an hour. That's a joke.
