Wanted to go to the Williamsburg Smorgasburg and this was a great way to go. Regular ferries that cost the same as a subway ticket and you get amazing views on the way. Various stops across the river so plenty of places to go.

Wonderful way to get from Midtown to Brooklyn for only $2.75 US for seniors, lots of sights to see on way, avoid around 6 pm as appears to be peak hour.

Ferries are in some cases the easiest means of travel in the Big Apple. East River ferry works well and gets you there.
