Long in the works, the park opened last year and is almost complete. Everything from sports fields to barbecue area and an ice cream place on Pier 5. Lots of activity but most importantly magnificent Manhattan views along the 1 1/2 mile waterfront.

Another spot with a great view of the city. It's fun to watch the water taxi speed up and down the river.

It's a nice little park. Great way to see the Brooklyn Bridge and NYC skyline. Only downside is it's a bit of a walk to get to the entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge to walk over.

One of my regular walks is Brooklyn Bridge Park. For many years, it was a reliably quiet and solitary walk. This is still true much of the time, but there are equally lively and crowded days, too, especially on weekends. Most recently, the new condominium...More

Amazing view of manhattan. A place to think and take in the absolutely breathtaking view. Watch the ships floating on the ocean while you think of poetry or just reminisce about yesteryear. I highly recommend this wonderful nook in Brooklyn.
