Interesting place with a lot of restaurants. We read it is actually growing with the new wave of immigration. One of the iconic NYC neighborhoods.

We went there during the evening and finally it was nothing exciting. We got average dinner there. I would say, go there if you already see the rest of NY. Maybe good thing is to buy cheap souvenirs.

visited Chinatown overT-Day week, very hectic but vibrant; great fruit stands, hawker stalls and easy to walk around there so long as you kept an eye out for traffic! Found a great restaurant [Royal Seafood], and good deals on fruit to take to the hotel.

We had a great time walking around and seeing the different shops, people, and stuff. It was great and we will be making it a regular stop when visiting the area.

We had a tight schedule but were so glad that we took time to walk around Chinatown and take in all the sights, restaurants, and people. It was a busy area and such fun to see.

Ten, fifteen minutes- depending on how distracted you'll get along the way! I would take Broadway to the end (maybe see the Bull of Wall Street and the Defiant Girl if she's still there) and walk down some side streets... More
