This is a wonderful way to spend a cold or rainy day. Young kids love the interactive exhibits, and we love the local touches. But, some of the staff - esp. in the water/blocks portion - don't seem to enjoy their jobs. And you don't really see any other staff around other parts of the museum -- feels a little... More

Lots of activities for the young children We were there for couple of hours. My grandson was occupied all this time and don't want to leave. Absolutely recommend it.

It's not kept clean. Many of the items are touch related. Every time I took kids there the next day they came down with pinkeye, colds etc.My daughter should have worn gloves and I should have had handy wipes on me.Area parking isn't the greatest don't leave nothing of value in the car,not even sunglasses.

We visited New York in March 2017 for a family wedding. Honestly, we found New York painful to visit with small children and this museum was definitely a highlight for them. There is plenty of stuff to do at the museum to keep the kids busy all day. Our son spend the entire day going back and forth to the... More

My grandchild and I spent 3 hours here and probably could of stayed longer. He had a great time. Lots to do for kids. I would not realy call this a museum, found the place more like a big indoor playground/kindergaden for children but we had a great time and would still recommend to others AS a place to visit... Given that we stayed in Brooklyn during our latest trip to NYC, we decided to try something closer for the kids. This place has such good reviews that honestly, I expected way more. The museum is really out-of-date, many interactive things that the kids could play with are broken, everything just looked and felt old. It's also a very small... More

This museum is amazing. You could be there for a day! So much to absorb no matter what the age so you want to keep going back! I had so much fun with my grand daughter and my son also we decided to sign up for a year subscription. It is definitely worth your while no matter what age your... More

We called over with our 8 year old on a visit to Brooklyn. Very welcoming and lovely staff. At $11, it's far from the most expensive thing you'll do in New York. The child loved it and didn't want to leave and it has a good educational slant to it, teaching about the various cultures that make up the borough.... More

The kids had a great time. Every floor had another surprise. They loved it and ask to go back the next day.
