It's getting better

It was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy 4 years ago. It's taken some time but the place is slowly getting back to it's great self.

Great experience for me especially the sea show where the friendly staff interacted with and encouraged audience participation. Will return once renovations are finished!

The aquarium is under renovation since hurricane sandy.. estimated time of completion is 2018 that's way to long. This place should be closed...its $12 to get in $13 to park and the aquarium has three exhibits..and one show you can do the whole park in a half hour.. save your money

The aquarium is still charging more than $10 a person to enter and only one exhibit is open. It is terrible that there is so little to see and they are not honest about it. They hand you a map and most of the exhibits are closed. Renovations are still underway from hurricane sandy and I will be happy to... More

Great place to bring the family to catch the exhibits and also schedule yourself to catch a sea lion show. They are installing a new shark exhibit so that will be exciting to look forward to. There are feeding exhibits and also ones where you can touch certain animals. Great place and time with the family.

Don't waste your time visiting a small part of the aquarium because most of it is under construction or in temporary tank displays. We spent about an hour visiting the place and felt we missed seeing most of the sea animals and exhibits we expected to see because they aren't open. The aquarium should be closed during this construction and... More

Took my 16 month old grandson to the aquarium this summer. As a kid I remember going to the aquarium and being excited and fascinated by the sights. The aquarium is currently undergoing reconstruction. By the mock-up photos, it should be an exciting place to visit once completed. Admission is pricey for ages 3 and over is $11.95 ($10.75 for... It's was unconstruction so the sharks were in a green until clear tank. Not very attracting. The show, fish and 4d movie was awesome. Went on a Thursday so it wasn't two busy. It's very small as well

It was 30 years since I've been there, and so many good memories came to me. I was so saddened to see that some exhibitions were close for renovations. Sandy did so much damage to the aquarium, but they are rebuilding and improving the main building and bringing back some of the all favorites. Can't wait to see them again.... More
