The ticket price was very reasonable for what you get. There was so much to see. Some favorites were the Bonsai house, the Herb Garden and the Rock Garden trail. The New England Aster was very beautiful in full bloom.

The gardens are free to enter if you arrive before a certain time (mid-day I think) so it is worth going a bit early to skip the crowds and to get the free entry. The gardens themselves are huge and there is lots to see...More

There is paid parking adjacent to BBG off Washington Avenue. Parking is generally a problem on weekdays, but can be on weekends. I think that the best bet in coming from Pa. is over the Verrazano Bridge and onto the... More
