This show is a fun musical comedy revue of what it was like on the alaskan frontier and in Fairbanks in particular. Held in an old-fashioned theatre decorated circa 1900. Its a little cheesy, but worth it. We enjoyed ourselves very much. If you go to the Alaskan Salmon Bake (at Pioneer Park), you can catch this show right afterwards... More

The Salmon Bake and Palace Theatre musical review are situated in the Alaskaland theme park, so as tourists, you eat at the Salmon Bake (see my review - disappointing) and wander across to the Theatre. The show was very good, consisting of song, dance and joke routines by the 5 cast members, reflecting the history of Fairbanks. Go to this.

Funny, slapstick, slightly suggestive at times musical review of local history well done by 5 talented actors/singers/musicians!

We enjoyed this show. It is in a small vaudeville theater with a cute and corny show about Alaska. Had us laughing especially the can can "girls"

This was a delightful and funny review that told the history of Fairbanks in song and dance. Only negative was that the temperature was turned right down so those of us sitting under the air conditioning froze. I combined this with the Salmon Bake and it was a great introduction to Fairbanks on Day 1 of the tour.

If you are looking for the history of Alaska told with humor, this is the place. Funny and entertaining. Palace is within a park of the Salmon Bake, which we bought as a double affair. If you can get there at opening so you can get up close, the place becomes packed quickly as the Palace is on the excursion... More

My wife and I purchased the combo ticket for the Alaska Salmon Bake and The Palace Theater figuring we would make it dinner and a show on Saturday night in Fairbanks. The show was lively and fun. The performers did a great job. The music and frivolity made for a fun evening.

This show is a hilarious history of Fairbanks. Your sides will be splitting! The actors and actresses are talented and quick to engage the audience. This is good clean family fun, even though they pay tribute to the brothels in the city's past. Don't miss it! Call ahead for reservations, since they only seat about 159 patrons per show.

We were a bit worried before we bought the tickets as English is not our mother language, but afterwards we were really happy we did this. It was a good hour of great entertainment and high quality performance. A humorous look at the history of Fairbanks with nice music. The actors spoke and sung very clear and very good, so... More

This venue isn't very large so you get the sense you are being personally entertained. We enjoyed ourselves greatly once we got inside. The show had music, dancing, cute costumes, and some excellent improv especially by Mr. Hansen. (Please forgive me if I have spelled your name incorrectly.) Don't let the negatives below keep you from going. Just be warned.... More
