The university is beautiful to see. The staff are wonderful and are readily willing to assist you. As one of them said, "It's Alaska and everybody helps each other out."

We were a couple weeks late in the season for visiting the botanical gardens, which we would have enjoyed. A very comprehensive University. Beautiful setting.

We loved the local Alaskan art and history. It is a must see. It is not overcrowded and relaxing with so muck Alaskan history.

Worthwhile visit. Lots of different exhibits documenting culture, history, wildlife, fauna and flora...art and artifacts for all interested in learning about Alaska and see Alaskan arts and crafts outside the ubiquitous gift shops. And all that in a architecturally stunningly designed building.

This museum on the grounds of the Univ of Alaska Fairbanks is well done. They have a lot of good artifacts and art. You can view each region of the state and learn about the different areas. Upstairs has a nice art gallery.
