Does going to the Arctic Circle sound cool? Does chasing the northern lights sound romantic? There's no doubt that the answers to both questions are yes. But as it sounds cool and romantic, it was not easy to take since it was such a long drive on one of the most dangerous roads in the world. Tony did an excellent... More

On this tour it was just the two of us and the guide (Mike). He collected us punctually from our hotel. The northern lights came out nicely, on a still cold night with a full moon. Mike added a lot to our knowledge – helping us to take great photos that feature the northern lights, not just are of the... More

I joined a 1st Alaska photo workshop tour, and had a great time! Our guide, Carly, carried us safely to and from the workshop site (Aurora Bear Photography), and used our drive time to get to know us and the other clients in the van, and to explain the aurora to us. She was knowledgeable and engaging, which really added... More

It was a very long drive, starting at 15.00 and end at 04.00, but with our guide, Mike, the trip didn't feel boring at all. Our guide, Mike, is really knowledgeable, he explained how the pipeline work, how to find the Northern lights, how the permafrost affect the tree and even how to predict the weather. We learned a lot... More

It's a long trip..almost 14 hours in a van. However, our guide Tony made it as pleasant as possible. We stopped by few beautiful places where we got some very nice pictures. In the way back we saw the northern lights. It was beautiful and bright. Tony got some nice pictures and shared with us. That was really nice because... More

We went to the Chena Hot Springs and Aurora Watching tour by First Alaska. What a night!!! First, I have to commend our guide, Janet, for her patience, knowledge and overall pleasant personality. It was an all-night adventure and while we were sinking, Janet's energy and enthusiasm kept up going! We went to the Ice Museum and saw beautiful ice... More

We were picked up by Tony at our hotel and he was a fantastic host. Although the lights didnt put on a show we really enjoyed meeting the dogs and going sledding followed by a delicious meal. Everyone we meet on the tour was so welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Of the 3 tours were did here with... More

We were lucky enough to have Micheal for our Arctic Circle/Northern Lights tour. He was a fountain of knowledge! He also was an amateur photographer so he was able to set up my camera so I had fantastic photos of the Northern Lights. We were all extremely worried that we wouldn't get to see the lights because of the fog... More
