The $12.00 ticket price surprised me because no discounts for seniors or retired military or AAA were offered, yet active duty military and family get in free. Anyway, the displays were interesting and worth seeing. We didn't go upstairs to the art exhibit.

Worth visiting as a standalone destination while in Fairbanks. Great history of the region along with the challenges people faced while living in Alaska. Well done museum- recommend a guide to get the most out of the museum.

Best thing about the UAF is it's location. I have no idea about the schools curriculum other than being a science college

We recently visited the museum as part of a land vacation travelling across Alaska. Great exhibits, well presented and very informative. This museum would suit all age groups and is well worth a visit.
