The Steese Highway offers pretty views. It might be somewhat challenging for young kids. Make sure you have a full tank of gas because there are few gas stations along the way

Steele Highway is very easy to travel and gives you easy access to most of Fairbanks, Chena Hot Springs, overlooks to easily view the Northern Lights, University of Alaska and much more.

Steese Hwy is a well maintained highway that leads to many points of interest. It is not a destination in itself, but rather a means to other destinations.
