New civil war space saved from development. Nice place to walk some hills. The cannons are silenced but to walk the grounds give you a perspective of the battle that was.

While not part of the NPS Battlefield Parks, the Harris Farm is an important part of the story. It is great to see this part of the battle preserved and available to the public!

We had some time to kill before anything opened up so we walked around and loved the easy to read signs and informative signs. It was a chilly day so we had a nice peaceful walk.

so much of the Spotsylvania Courthouse battlefield has been swallowed up, it is nice to see an area that is still open, saved by the Civil War Trust. This is a private residence with roadside signage. Was used as a hospital as Hancock and Ewell's...More
