While touring the historic sites, my daughter wanted to visit a park and play a little. It was a hot day, so this park was a great choice. It's shady, so I didn't roast while watching her play.

Easy walk for all levels of hikers, nice trail to walk along for families and enjoy nature. There is also a jumping rock not to far from this near the pool before you enter the park that people of all ages can enjoy.

We were searching for a park where we could sit in grass while my granddaughter played at playground. Forget it, only dry dirt by playground. Very limited parking, hard to get van back out as cars were parked everywhere. We decided to leave and go...More

We took a 4 year old to this park. Small creek allowed for walking in the water and throwing pebbles. The fossil wall or cliff that is located in the park is fantastic. We had a picnic under lots of trees. Nice walking paths

Great playground, fun trails but be careful with small children. Places for kids to get feet wet or dogs to splash in water.

A nice park that you can take the family to. You have a choice of taking the more rugged trails or catch the paved path at the top of the parking lot. It can get a bit crowded and has limited parking. To get to...More

If you are looking for a place to burn off food and see nice scenery, it is a great place to do it. Short walking trail along the river, longer bike/run/walk route.

Very nice, peaceful place. It has wooded hiking trails by the water, picnic areas and a small playground.
