We saw the puppet show about the Banana Kid. It was great for both adults and kids. Only thing I would suggest is that staff could be more observant. Adults were using cell phones during performance and being annoying. Kids were fine, some adults, not...More

A very nice alternative for younger kids if you need to occupy them for a couple of hours. The shows are very appropriate for them and the performers do an excellent job. Be sure to check their site to know what shows are on or...More

Some shows are better than others but for the money you cannot beat it and the kids get to experience live shows. I love the surrounding town and the T stops directly across the street from it.

We use to go to the puppet showplace theater every Sunday. Our kids learned to love theater at the Puppet Theater and proper audience behavior. The artistry and drama of the shows are spectacular!

A wonderful (& low cost!) way to introduce children to the magic of puppets and of story-telling. We always take our out-of-town nieces/nephews here. They love not only the presentations but almost always get attracted by a finger or similar puppet to take home and...More

I was fortunate to take a rare class at this Theatre several years ago. With careful instruction, students were able to make 3 kinds of puppets.. hand, string and shadow and put on short performances with them. The puppeteers were wonderful talented people willing to...More

Young kids will love this place. Fun and simple, and a place where kids can be kids. The shows are always inventive and kids can buy puppets, too. Seating is on first come, first served so if you want to be in front come early.
