Lovely green area in the heart of Vancouver

This was a lovely park with plenty to see and do for all ages, particularly on a warm, sunny day. Great to just sit and people watch, or walk around.

Esther Short Park is a great place to visit especially in the summer. It has green grass and trees to play on or throw a frisbee, etc. It has paved pathways to make it more handing capped accessible. There is a play and climbing area for the children. Bathrooms available. BUT the other very enjoyable things for adults and children... More

Right beside the farmers market, had a very nice time. Loved the various kinds of food and daughter loved the park.

Gorgeous centrally located park, surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants. Large grassy area perfect for sitting under the trees or kicking around a ball. Large playground (although it could use some shade) and a farmers market on Sunday.

Went to a farmer's market at this park and was delighted with the park and the market. It's a lovely walk through with plenty of places to rest as well as refresh. The park is well kept and clean. It is surrounded with restaurant offerings and inviting bars. There is often music available, a beautiful fountain and soft drink carts.... More

Esther Short park is a beautiful city park and definitely worth a stop. It is surrounded by funky downtown Vancouver with interesting shops and restaurants. On weekends, the park hosts the Farmers Market which is a must see/do. There is easy, on-street parking in the area.

This is a wonderful park. Green, spacious, interesting artwork, and lots of space. I walk around it and threw it and wished there was some kind of a community festival happening.
