Nice park in the downtown area. We went late afternoon, there seemed to be quite a few homeless people wondering around.

Peace and quiet except for the laughter of little ones playing in the water displays. This park is truly a welcome relief from the traffic and noise of city life by a major freeway. Throughout the year there are kinds of events, wine tasting, jazz...More

We stayed at the Hilton in mid-winter for a convention. The park was a nice getaway after long hours inside. Even in winter it was nice to walk thru and sit for a while.

... family friendly. The park has dealt with (sometimes aggressive) panhandlers, but this seems to be under control to a large extent. Go in the summer on a weekend so you stroll through Vancouver's Farmer's Market. Make a day of it.
