Stopped in to walk the nature trail and see the forts. Neat area. Has a camping lot next to it that had some shady looking characters, but otherwise a nice trail with good information stops.

Very well maintained. Museum is surprisingly rich with history. Bookstore is well-stocked. The walking trail along the riverbank with storyboards gives visitors a good chance to get some fresh air and exercise while learning why this exact location was critical to settlers and explorers.

This is a great place to visit in an area with not a lot of attractions worth visiting. It has beautiful scenic views and a nice, flat paved walking trail. A good place for a picnic.

This is a very goood place to learn about the importance of river travel and trade for the Western US. You can see how far the river has moved since the docks were built. The building has some very good displays of the areas history.

This is a worthwhile stop while touring the area. The exhibit is nicely set up and the facility is fairly new. In addition to the exhibits, there are on-site concerts held occasionally.

One evening, a young boy could not find his dog. The father told the young man they would look the following day. The next day, they looked out the window and spotted the dog. This describes the Great Plains perfectly. One can look in any...More

The wild Missouri is here where the Yellowstone joins the eastward flow. We read the reviews of the center and having been disappointed a few times prior we passed. We saw a walking trail near the center but no hint of the river. Then we...More

I really enjoyed the walk outside by the river; there were great views of the river plus a series of informative signs about the local history and ecology of the confluence. You can see all this for free. For five dollars you can also view...More

We didn't have much time here, so we just walked the short paved path to view the confluence of the rivers. There are a few interpretative signs to explain the area's significance.
