Beth Reiter is a very knowledgable and well-informed guide to Savannah as she was involved in its historic preservation for many years. She knows everything about the houses, residents, and local history. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with her and would highly recommend her to others. She will answer all your questions.

If you are looking for ghost stories, entertainment and other such stuff don't book this tour. If you want an adult experience and want to learn about the real history, this is the place. We were able to get a private walking tour (4 of us) of many of Savannah's squares and points of interest. A leisurely walk with plenty... More

We opted to book a tour of the Old Fort District during out recent visit to Savannah and are so glad we did. Aside from discovering a different neighborhood, we learned so much of the area's history and had a chance to admire so many architectural gems. Bill Thompson was our guide and his banter goes down like honeyed bourbon.... More

Unlike many Savannah guides, Beth's background and training well equips her to give her clients accurate facts about historic Savannah. No fabrications just to enhance a story. No silly, fictitious ghost stories. As a Savannah native, she wants visitors to understand her beloved home's history and appreciate its unique architecture. She loves her city and does her best to help... More

Our guide, Beth Reiter of Savannah ArchiTours, began with a concise yet comprehensive overview of the founding of the city that explains its current layout--so we came away with a much deeper understanding of this remarkable place and its unusual plan. Beth's knowledgeable about every aspect of Savannah lets her tailor her comments to any group, including ours, the Library... More

Beth Reiter, who runs Savannah ArchiTours, led board members of the Library of American Landscape History on a wonderful tour of Savannah's historic sites last week. Our visit to Savannah, and understanding of the city, was much enriched by our tour. Not only is Beth (former preservation officer of the city and a descendent of generations of Savannahians) extraordinarily knowledgeable... More

Beth Reiter led me on two superlative, in-depth tours of much of the historic city in two days time. It was the... More

Great tour with Beth Reiter, very informative. Beth is very well informed about the history of the buildings and the subsequent renewal and preservation that has taken place which makes us apprectiate it even more. The squares are absolutely beautiful. This was a wonderful walking tour. Thank you, Beth. The Shirley's This was a tour for a couple with adult... More

Although the weather was wet, Beth . . . with her umbrella in hand . . . gave us an informative tour, with many personal vignettes. You would almost believe that she lived during the times she is describing. We would recommend any one of her tours for visitors who want to learn the real history of Savannah and its... More
