Forsyth Park is a great place to soak up some sun and the ambiance of historical Savannah. There are people indulging in all pursuits of relaxation from walking, jogging, bike riding, tanning, Frisbee games, dog-walking, relaxing in hammocks, sitting on the bench surrounding the magnificent fountain--the list goes on and on. It is in the historic district and is not... More

When touring Savannah, take a stroll through Forsyth Park. On a nice weekend day, lots of activities going on. There are couple of play areas for young children, cafe and huge lawns to run, rest and/or take in some sun. Lots of artists in the park too playing music! Nice relaxing day!

Perfect for casual walks, exercise and sightseeing. Very clean and picturesque. No litter. I went running with my husband, and we couldn't get enough of this place. I saw some people doing yoga and other group exercises on the lawn, so I would assume that the grass was clean. A lots of people with dogs, but I was lucky not... More

Great for walking and pictures! Or simply a place to sit and chat. There isn't much to do here but it's a beautiful park!

Beautiful park. Visited last weekend, great weather and sunny day, so lots of people and dogs. Guy playing the saxophone was excellent and enjoyed by all. Fountain is nice, there are benches to sit and watch people. Great place to have a picnic and while away the afternoon.

We saw Forsyth Park Fountain from our trolley ride and vowed to make the walk to see the fountain up close and personal. It is a lovely place within a huge park and definitely a site work seeing and a great place for photos.

Visited this park during my trip to Savannah. Very historic and beautiful park. I loved the fountain in the middle of it. I read a book by the fountain and it was very relaxing

What a great park to see everything from couples to family to individuals exercising during the day to romantic walks in the evening. A lot of photo opts here and the picture I'm uploading was taken by a SCAD student working on a project.

I think the title says it all! This is the park with the beautiful fountain. If you keep walking south, you will come to the beautiful open air area where people have picnics, kids are running around and the live oaks line either side. Wonderful way to spend part of your day.
