Felt like NYC

My wife and I feel in love with this park. It felt like being back in NYC, with the live music, couples sun bathing, kids playing with their parents, and dogs running.

I recently moved to Savannah. My wife and Ibstsrted walking around the park for exercise. She always pointed out people having picnics. I got her a nice picnic basket for her birthday. We now are the folks that you see as you walk or drive by while we enjoy the beauty of the park and the world class "people watching... More

Beautiful large park, excellent for walking, playing, picnicking, or just enjoying the beautiful oaks. Surrounded by old homes in the downtown area. Close to good restaurants and a wonderful well known health food store, Brighter Day.

Beautiful fountain, and the park area is nice, and we had lunch at the cafe in the park. Walked around the park for some time enjoying flowers and beauty of the park.

We were near the park and walked over mainly to see the fountain. It is a popular Savannah sight...worth going to see. The park itself is also a nice place to visit while in the city.

Walked thru it at night which felt odd but we also felt safe. QUite abit of evening foot traffic. Great old southern charm, worth the visit, probably better in the afternoon.

If you like being outside, I would definitely suggest visiting Forsyth Park. It was relaxing and very peaceful. We spent our time at the park sitting by the fountain and walking around. There is a playground for children and tons of space for them to run around. The tress were beautiful and the park is very clean. It was walking... More

Loved this park. Lots of activity-dogs, biking, frisbees. Like something on a Hallmark movie. I could sit on a bench and watch all the dog activity all day.

Forsyth Park with its beautiful fountains is worth the trip. My daughter and I spent about an hour taking in the beauty of the park. The walk is worth your time. Even in winter this is still a wonderful park!
