We all have read or heard of the Book of Savanha. Go to Forsyth and see the park and the fountain. Walk in a park in the middle of the city that you will forget is in the city. It’s the gem of Savanna

We fell in love with the fountain in this park. This is a huge park and always seemed to have something going on in it when we would pass it on the trolley.

We visited on an August afternoon. The Park was busy, but not overly crowded. We enjoyed the fountain and shaded walks. Our teenager was not as enthusiastic as us.

Not really spectacular if you compare to other monuments in savannah. But still a nice place to walk around.

We were glad that we took the time to see this little park. It is really pretty. My recommendation is that you visit in the winter time, the August Heat in Georgia, was no joke!

So glad we walked there... Just beautiful. Go see the 300-year-old tree!!! Saw a wedding, heard live music, went to a coffee shop.

With all the playgrounds and green spaces and the fountain, this is a wonderful place for an afternoon stroll or a place to sit and people-watch. Beautiful.

We stopped here off one of the free trolleys so that my 2 boys could run around. It was so nice. There is a really nice modern playground along with an older one next to it. My kids had such fun. There was also a...More
