Forsyth Park is huge; I believe the Trolley guide said 1/4 mile each side. There is a lot of open space that would be perfect for a blanket picnic and a Frisbee game. I didn't see any picnic tables. There is a small building with...More

My 4 year old had a blast at the playground and the park was just beautiful. I also appreciate that it was so clean.

So much beauty, playgrounds, tennis courts, wide paths for walking and biking...large grassy fields for picnics, games and fun for all ages!

Such a nice park to walk around! There were a bunch of activities going on the day I went which was nice to see. The fountain is the best place for pictures.

Lovely square and even more beautiful historic fountain. The iron fence also is lovely. There is so much wrought iron work in Savannah. A tour highlighting wrought iron should prove successful.

The park is at the end of Bull St. Wide open space, great park for kids, it has a cafe too. There were a lot of people playing volleyball on grass courts. The fountain is beautiful.

Forsyth park is always beautiful and normally hosting some type of event (perhaps a wedding in front of the fountain or the farmer's market). It's definitely worth a stroll and is a great place to take photos.

Steeped in history - surrounded by steel magnolia trees - the Forsyth Park is a beautiful and tranquil place to create wonderful memories -

We were in Forsyth Park during their annual Rock n Roll marathon, so we sat and watched the festivities. VERY beautiful park! Would love to picnic there next time in Savannah!

When we were there, no bikes were allowed on the pedestrian paths, but that did not stop people. If you are caught there is a $500 fine. Just pay attention to where you are riding.

Yes, it has been removed to avoid vandalism, to a museum. The Bird Girl statue has likewise been taken to a museum. It is available for public viewing.
