- Stephanie RBrooklyn, New York10 contributionsBest place in Savannah! This is a beautiful establishment that is sparkling with Antebellum era decor, the ambience is calming and the decor is truly a wonder! The lights mimic candlelit rooms which make for a wonderful night in. The food was SPECTACULAR and every single person on staff was incredibly friendly, truly Southern hospitality at its best. I loved every bit of this place and will have this on my must return list whenever we’re back in town! Kudos!Visited March 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 21 March 2023
- Katharine4 contributionsAn amazing meal and experience combinedOur family of 4 (3 generations) had an incredible meal and experience at The Olde Pink House. Warning: you must make reservations MONTHS in advance to enjoy this, but it's worth it. The actual house was gorgeous. The food was plentiful and also amazing. Our table split 2 appetizers and each had our own entree, and we were much too full to order dessert. And our server, Shonia (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was so friendly and open that she made us feel like we were personal friends she had invited to visit. This was definitely a highlight of our trip.Visited March 2023Written 25 March 2023
- johnsD4307YBAtlanta, Georgia21 contributionsGreat food in a local landmarkWe were lucky enough to get a last minute reservation for lunch. The experience was great. My wife had the signature flounder- outstanding. I had She-crab soup, which was also outstanding, and a Mahi sandwich. The sorbet and pecan pie for dessert were great. The service is exquisite. We had no wait at our reservation time, and the food arrived promptly. The building itself it like a museum. It has great charm and history. Well worth the visit.Visited March 2023Written 25 March 2023
- Becky BBradenton, Florida140 contributionsNo reservationsCouldn’t get a reservation but we happened to be nearby at opening so we went to the bar and they had plenty of room. We weren’t there for a meal but got drinks and an appetizer. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks were very sweet but good. Skip the fried tomatoes unless you want 2 measly little slices. Seriously, they should give you a full serving and just charge more. Next time we will come for meal and get the fried whole fish, it looked amazing!Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 April 2023
- G. SesmasColumbia, Missouri9 contributionsFlounder was greatLoved the flounder although my wife did not, probably because it has a sweet sauce on top. The ambiance was nice and the servers were attentive. I would go back, plus we both had collard greens for the first time and they were excellent.Visited March 2023Written 1 April 2023
- Jane SJupiter, Florida178 contributionsWonderful restaurant in a building full of historyThis charming, historical restaurant should be a stop on everyone's list. So much history, which your server will share with you, and a delicious, creative menu. I had the shrimp and grits, with a spin on the usual prep of grits. This restaurant lightly fries the grits and cheddar and the result is a denser version with lots of flavor. The shrimp were abundant and flavorful. The country gravy was not at all heavy and added a bit of spice to the dish. Served with perfectly sauteed collard greens. I selected their planters punch from the nice list of craft cocktails and it was wonderful. You are encouraged to walk around the many dining rooms. Be sure to visit the basement bar where the bartender will share more history of the building with you!Visited April 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 13 April 2023
- Elizabeth LLompoc, California45 contributionsFabulous food in an historic housePrepare to be pampered and amazed. The inside of the house is over the top oppulant, with lovely chandeliers and attention to every detail. The food was excellent. Be sure to order the chocolate peanut butter bomb for dessert. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed.Visited April 2023Written 13 April 2023
- JulieMims, Florida8 contributionsWonderful deliciousness! We had the she crab soup, goat cheese artichoke fritters as appetizers. Both were stellar! Then came the biscuits -- best buttermilk biscuits we've ever had! Hubs and I both tried each other's entrees and everything was incredible. He got the crispy lobster tails with the garlic bacon mashed potatoes. I got the pan seared salmon over horseradish mashed potatoes with a side of fried green tomatoes. Delish! Disappointed we didn't have room for dessert. The Olde Pink House is a Savannah must, but be prepared to spend some $$.Visited April 2023Written 13 April 2023
- thomaslS7009WSEdinburg, Texas247 contributionsPricey dinnerWe had reservations for two couples. Our waiter was very good with suggestions. I had the jumbo scallops for $32. There were only three but it was a good plate as well as the other three. Small pour on expenssive wine. Good one time visit.Visited April 2023Written 15 April 2023
- akballardMorgantown, West Virginia51 contributionsNot just good food!We were in Savannah on an intercoastal cruise. We had only three days there. This restaurant was recommended to us. We tried for two days to get a reservation and finally did for lunch on the third day. The food was excellent, service was superb. If you make it here and I highly recommend it, be sure to stroll through the whole house. There is a tavern in basement where a few could eat as well as a wine cellar. There is a ballroom upstairs and many smaller rooms throughout the house used for diningVisited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 May 2023

I posted a separate review for the Olde Pink House Restaurant, 5 stars of course, but the mansion itself deserves the same 5 stars. Do allocate some time before your lunch or dinner to see its spectacular rooms, some of them original and others rebuilt. Someone had a brilliant idea to make this treasure of a mansion the most popular restaurant in Savannah. Such a beauty… and such a food…

We went here for a date night. The food is brought out at a pace that allows you to enjoy what’s in front of you. The buttermilk biscuits are savory. The filet and twice baked potato is the best entree I’ve ever had. The Waitress, Caitlin, was able to make recommendations, offered a perfect wine pairing and was very friendly and knowledgeable. A manager came to check on us and was very knowledgeable as well. The environment is moody and romantic. Music floats through the air up from the basement. We’re so grateful we were able to visit. Make a reservation early!! Enjoy every bite.

We loved this place from the moment we arrived! The hostess gave us a friendly greeting, and we were shown to our table right away. There are so many rooms to explore, and I took the time to wander through all of them. Diners ranged from families with kids to women dressed in flapper outfits, really fun scene.
As everyone mentions, the whole fish special was really something else! And the drinks have great names, and they are all wonderful. The waiter offered a short history of the building. Overall, a not-to-miss restaurant when you’re in Savannah.

My wife and I celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary this past Saturday, 2/24, at The Old Pink House. Everything was perfect. From the second we walked in the door we were made to feel as if we were old friends. The service from our server, Emily, was superb. My wife's allergies were handled expertly. The food was, amazing. It's easy to see why this restaurant is such a favorite. We will certainly go back anytime we are back in Savannah. Thank you for an excellent meal and a great time.

I decided this would be a nice evening out for my husbands birthday. We came to town with our dog who goes everywhere with us so when I made the reservation I asked to be seated outside. From the minute we walked in a young gentleman ( a Ryan Gosling look alike) greeted us and our pooch and was excellent for the rest of the evening. Casey is Charming, helpful, knows his menus and wine- terrific. The food is great the ambiance amazing and Casey topped the entire evening off. Perfection!!

The food is stellar, the building and ambiance are perfection, but the service, at least from our waiter Blake was outstanding! We had never been to a restaurant where the server was so great; all servers should strive to be as good at their job. Not only super professional but obviously loves what he does. He was spot on with suggestions (if ur going to have the fried green tomatoes, get the BLT salad instead), knew everything about the menu - drinks and food (down to what kind of cherries where used in our drink and what menu items are stand out for the restaurant), had perfect timing with the arrival of drinks and food. It really made our evening, we have never had an expert like that before and sadly suspect it will be a long time before we get it again. Thank you as well to the manager Jeffery who was equally attentive and made sure all of our needs where meet.

My understanding is that there is a side entrance allowing access to an elevator. I would check first by calling the restaurant.

Dress code is casual dress as far as I could tell. We were four women traveling together, and all wore Capri pants with nice tops. I don't remember seeing any men wearing shorts

Does the Olde Pink House have an accessible entrance? I see steps in the front of the building? I m wondering if there is another entrance with a ramp?
Fred K
Port Saint Lucie, FL363 contributions
Once you know, please share! This is too much of a major landmark for them not to have a solution. Food purveyors would certainly not make deliveries using the front steps. There is no doubt a service entrance at street level - but I would call ahead to make arrangements. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Is this restaurant child friendly?
Deidra D
Annapolis, MD10 contributions
If your children are well behaved by all means have them experience the fine dining atmosphere. If they need to be entertained and are squirmy this is not the place for them. I am not sure if they have a kids menu, call the restaurant and they will be happy to help you.
