Walked all over. The squares are absolutely beautiful, each one unique. The ones on Bull Street are most impressive but all are great. Christmas decorations were everywhere.

We loved walking around this area! So many great shops and restaurants. The squares are lovely and full of history. The architecture is magnificent. We can't wait to come explore more of this area!

You have to be there to see the beauty of this historical gem! The buildings were courageous and such a mix of architecture throughout the years! They have maintained the historical feel of yesterday with the present feel of the 2000’s.

The historical district of Savannah is a real gem. We had the benefit of a walking tour to orient ourselves and then spent another couple of hours taking in the beautiful architecture and the many interesting squares. Great for an afternoon or morning outing.

Ride the trolley and see parts of Savannah that you normally wouldn’t see. Great way to spend about 90 minutes and get a little history.

The historical area of Savannah is charming, educational and easily walkable. There are many tours from walkable to trolley to personal guides. There are many parks/squares and beautiful Victorian style homes. Also good shopping.

We did our tourism homework before we went to Savannah. When we got there we spent some more time visiting the numerous welcome centers chock-full of information with all the things available to the tourist. We are all used to pamphlets, brochures, videos and the...More

We only went to Laura plantation so I can’t compare but do recommend it. Our very informative guide was the great (?) granddaughter of a slave.
