AMAZING! I’ve never been so engulfed and engaged in a tour with so much emotion attached. Karen really helps you visualize the areas that were once so unbelievably terrible, with nothing but a statue in its place today.

We went on that tour because it was highly recommended by our host and it's the only tour in Savannah that covers black history. Our expectations were not unrealistic, we had just hoped to get an insight in the history of African Americans in Savannah...More

I took this tour on 08/04/18. This was a terrible tour. Johnnie claims to bring you to a cemetery that has a slave burial ground and a whipping trip. Eh, I wasn't sold on either of these 'facts' as he presented but okay. Then he...More

Incredible tour. Thoughtful, nuanced, and thoroughly researched. Karen is a historian who can truly make stories come alive. This was the most informative and compelling thing we did in Savannah.

This is an excellent tour. Mr. Johnny Brown does a great job of explaining and sharing his knowledge of Savannah's Freedom tour. This was my third time exploring the tour. I love it more each time.

I would send the tour an email to schedule the tour. They only provide the tour for those who have reserved ahead of time. I hope that answered your question.
