Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our family went with 2 other families to the performance in Dec 2018 and to a performance a couple years before that. It was AMAZING. You really felt like you were immersed in the experience. We were walking from the church to the boats and suddenly behind us a Roman soldier came up on us on the biggest horse I have ever seen. There were numerous other animals in the barns of Bethlehem. The actors were all excellent. Everything was so organized. They wonderfully accommodated a handicap member of our group. It was the most beautiful part of our Christmas season.

What an awesome experience for all!! Compassion Church did an extraordinary job in taking us on the journey, all the way to Bethlehem! The congregants of Compassion Church were the Roman Soldiers, the people playing the parts of Mary, Joseph and Jesus, everyone involved prior to the cross. They had Bethlehem set up with live animals, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, etc from that era.

I get goose bumps when I tell people about The Journey. We have gone several times are never disappointed. Even the teenagers look forward to this event. Live actors portray the story of Jesus as you and a small group of people are taken on a guided walk around a lake. You end up in Bethlehem. The have though of every detail. It really is incredible. The kids will enjoy the live animals. I encourage every one I know to see this amazing experience. It reminds me of the reason for the season.

Disappointed by disrespectful comments and behavior of boys playing Roman soldiers. Perhaps an accurate portrayal, but this is not the way for a church to reach the lost today.

This 2 hour walking presentation takes you back int time to the night that Jesus was born and the journey that took place to get the the city of Bethlehem. Was so real and like you were really there the night that Jesus was born.
