My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stroll through the sanctuary. The animals were beautiful and appeared healthy and well cared for. Overall the property was well maintained, although there are a few areas under construction. The views along the marshes were great. The area was quiet and peaceful. And, you can't beat the entrance fee! So affordable! We are... More

The wildlife center is a really nice place to learn about the local flora and fauna. It has great paths to walk on and some cool learning areas for kids and adults.

This is one of my favorite places in Savannah. I've been dozens of times over the years and have been happy to see the place grow and improve. Even when they're having one of their big events (Sheep Shearing or Cane Grinding) the grounds are expansive enough that the crowds spread out and disappear into the woods. Learning about the... Had a great time here it was much larger than I expected. There are plenty of animals and shade. Only thing I wish is they would have wheel chairs to rent for the elderly due to there is a lot of walking or offer golf cart tour even if it's xtra money.

Took the kids, they loved it. There were some interesting exhibits and the walk was nice. Plan to be there for a couple of hours and bring some sun screen and bug spray.

My husband and I loved walking through the trail and seeing all the exhibits! A lot of the animals were pretty interactive, too! Definitely one of our favorite places in the area.

Though it's a little out of town, this under-the-radar spot is a wonderful spot to check out no matter what your age or how many people you are traveling with! The animals seemed lively and healthy and kids and adults were "ewhing" and "awhing". One of the best parts was the lush and forested 2-mile trail that takes you to... More

Great place to spend a few hours. They have wagons you can rent to help with small children who don't want to walk. One of the best $5 investments I have ever made! Walkways and the animals were enjoyable. There is a waterway full of nesting herons that was a a great place to stop and watch the bird. Great... More

Although there is quite a bit of walking, the wildlife here are in very natural habitats and most easy to view. Just allow plenty of time so you are not rushed. Nice visitors center & gift shop, too.

The history of the humongous main building, with its impressive architecture, was a pleasant surprise. Though oriented towards children, the trails and wildlife are equally enjoyable for adults. A bit a of zoo feel, animal wise, but mixed in with native flora and fauna for those looking to get back to nature.
