In the heat of June, I like to visit the squares with water. It is a peaceful place to enjoy the shade and water.

One of the smaller of the many lovely squares in the Savannah historic district. A nice little park with a fountain. With its size and location, this one feels a little more peaceful than many of the other squares. It was a great place to...More

This square was laid out in 1799. But, it wasn't until 1970 that its beautiful fountain was moved there.

This square is ground zero of the revitalization of the historic district as the Davenport House was threatened with demolition and citizens came together to save it. The main feature of the square is an historic fountain.

A nice peaceful square to sit on a bench and have lunch. It is shady so it is cool on a hot day. Another nice stop in savannah. N
