I must confess - I love pirates with all my heart so of course I want to go someplace called the "Pirates' House." Having said that, I was expecting a totally cheesy tourist trap and mediocre food. Additionally, I decided to go with the buffet just to get my southern food fix, and I was honestly not expecting anything above... More

The pirates house building is full of history but unfortunately to me the food is average. I can say I've been there.

Fun atmosphere. Food was good, not great. We went at night for dinner and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy and dark and we had fun exploring the rooms.

We had a great time here! The chairs and tables were quite snug together, but the service was great and the buffet was amazing! I highly recommend the buffet over the menu. They had all the southern food you can eat!

I think this was a filler on the trolley-tour circuit, because it's run down, looks grungy, I wouldn't want to see the inside, but I overheard people saying lunch was good.

We were on the Ghost Tour with Old Savannah Tours and we stopped here for dinner. What an incredible place to eat. My wife and I both ordered the pecan crusted chicken. We were both expecting "just" a chicken breast. I think we both each, had 1/2 of a chicken. Excellent service too !!

I don't understand all the raves about this place. I mean it's Fried Chicken. It is really average at that. I would much rather go to the Lady and Sons and have some good vegetables with the chicken. Over priced tourist trap.

The Pirate's House is one of the oldest restaurants in the United States. Robert Lewis Stevenson modeled his Admiral Benbow Inn in Treasure Island on this colonial watering hole where sailors were actually shanghaied and dragged through a tunnel to the waterfront to be pressed into service on waiting ships. Luckily the wayward tourist no longer needs to worry about... More

We had dinner here after our ghost trolley tour, we got to go down into the rum cellar and take pics looking for ghosts, one of the guys in our group did catch an orb on his video...very cool. My husband and I had the jambalaya, it was good. This place is really cool and fun to explore.

Fun to come here for the history of the place. We ate from the lunch buffet and wish we'd ordered from the menu. Part of that is because what was on the buffet was very similar to what we ate at Mrs. Wilke's the previous day but with less variety. The food we saw others getting from the menu looked... More
