Always try to go here when in town. Prices are comparable to regular theatres but the ambiance inside is pleasant. Staff are always friendly. Theatre is clean. Parking is across the street in a city garage-$3- or paid street parking. Nice place to go see...More
Absolutely love attending the cinema and frequently visit when outside of the country too. This cinema is stunning and the selection of films, price and friendliness of staff were spot on. Organisation however could be addressed. We arrived to a packed foyer as three films...More
We decided to see the movie The Wife. We live approximately three hours from the theater, so we purchased the 705 PM tickets just to be sure we’d make it on time. We made it to the theater around 415 in time for the 420...More
I love movies, especially independent films. The Charles is the only place in Baltimore where you might see an independent international film. Plus, the best popcorn of all theaters in Baltimore is at

We just love this theater and the movies it shows. The Charles theater is easy to access and parking on the street is almost always available. If not, there is an inexpensive parking garage right across the street. We have been members of Cinema Sunday...More
Nice theater with cheap parking across the street ($3) which is great for a movie theater in the city. The staff was nice and concessions were fine. It’s connected to a tapas restaurant if you want to have dinner before or after or take an...More
Since I do not have an independent theater where I live, I always come to the Charles Theater when I visit my daughter. It's an older theater, but that's part of the charm. They have a wonderful selection of independent and foreign films, so there...More
