I love visiting aquariums and this is one of my top favorites. It is very large and has many animals that I have never seen before.

Here with our kids age 2-8. It was a little tough to keep the 2 yr old entertained but the 6 and 8 yr olds loved it. We all loved the dolphin shows which are several times a day. We came at 9:00 so were...More

This is a "must do" experience. Take your time even though the crowds may be overwhelming. I can't stress enough that you need to allow lots of time and be patient with the crowds.

Went with my kids on a school field trip with mix of high school and preschool students in an early development program. Everyone seemed to enjoy the exhibits, and were particularly intrigued by the ray and jellyfish touch tank and thoroughly entertained by the dolphin...More

Fabulous set up and tons of beautiful marine life. The dolphin exhibit is SO enjoyable!!! The location is on the harbor making the walk around the museum seem like an extension of the aquarium!

Maybe it's because we had the expectation that the National Aquarium would be the biggest and best in the nation... that we were ultimately left underwhelmed. Very very pricey, not as interactive as I'd have hoped, and actually just sort of dull. Comparatively, the Atlanta...More

Hi necessaryevil91. Thank for your feedback, we greatly appreciate it. While we are also fans of our neighbors to the south, I’m disheartened to hear you did not find your time with us equally enjoyable. With 20,000 animals along with daily immersive experiences, it is...More

A little expensive. Try to find Groupon tickets prior of attending- if you can. Purchase two days in advance- if you don’t you’ll be waiting in a long line to buy them. Lots to see, places to sit and food is available.

I honestly don't think so. Contacting the aquarium would be the best bet. If you're from out of town then they might offer you a refund. No harm in trying.
