We had a little extra time & stopped at the snake farm mainly because we both remembered wanting to stop at them when we were kids traveling with our parents and they seldom stopped. Now we stop everywhere we want so off to see the snakes. The proprietor was less than friendly. He may have been stoned or something. It... More

This is a fun thing to do with kids but only takes about 20 minutes. They have many snakes and reptiles but it is sort of dark. Is a small town and was an inexpensive novel thing to do.

I have visited the area several times, and am alway deterred from visiting because of all the junked vehicles out front. . . However, I want to get the most of my travels, and I thought it would be worth it once. You have to make it past the junky front yard and then through a junky first room, and... More

Usually we skip snake and gator places, but we usually encounter them in high-traffic tourist areas. Think of South Florida. This placed looked authentic. It's not large, it's not at all showy. It looked like the place I would want to live if I were a snake. The snakes all looked well cared for, and we saw many more rattlesnake... More

This is a place where you can see the largest collection of rattlesnakes. It's fun for kids to look at and cheap entertainment. The guy will answer questions but he's a little strange. Nice though. He said the owner just found out he had leukemia , so I'm not sure how he will take care of all the snakes. He... More

This place will give you the chills but the owner is very knowledgeable about his snakes. He even has three albino rattlesnakes. It was good to see some of the other snakes that were poisonous just in case you happen across them while out walking. It was very informative and each cage had a map on the front that showed... This place is a dive but he actually has a great variety of rattlers. I absolutely hate snakes and get creeped out by them but I am fascinated at the same time. He has rattlers that I have never seen. I like to be educated and aware. The owner was very nice.

This place is small. It's dirty, dark, cluttered, and possibly even creepy. I think we paid around $10 for two adults and two boys, ages 6 and 8. The guy working was very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the snakes and spiders. My boys and even my husband had tons of questions and he answered everything. I'm glad we did... More

These snakes are mistreated. It smells terrible inside and some of the snakes were even dead in their cages. I would not recommend supporting this business.

He's got snakes, but their attitude is better than his. I'm not sure who caught who. It's worth going if you like seeing snakes, but not near the variety of the one in San Marcos
