A great way to see much of Astoria. For a dollar you get a ride back and forth along the river that takes about an hour.

Ride the old Riverfront Trolley from one end of Astoria to the other, or stop off anywhere on the way. It is an entertaining and educational adventure. Youngsters love the trip and the rest of us enjoy it even more.

Just stand next to the track and wave a dollar and it will stop and pick you up. Just a buck for a ride or two bucks for all day (we didn't have all day, we had to get back to the ship and we had returned our rented car). How can you beat that deal? Especially when it includes... More

The conductors made this trip fun and humorous. Plan to have full capacity and go with someone you don't mind squeezing in with. We had a great time.

If you want to get a good introduction to Astoria, ride the trolley. This is a great activity for a family or adults. Besides getting a great perspective of the Astoria waterfront and a relaxing ride, you will hear a little bit of Astoria history that is 75% historical and 25% hysterical.

Beautiful restored trolley with witty engineer providing local history. Not only a good way getting from point A to Point Z it provides a good general understanding of lay of land and water in Astoria.

A dollar for a trip, $2 for the day! Took the trolley from the Maritime Museum. We happened to be at a 'stop', but if you're taking the walk by the trolley you can just wave a dollar and it will stop for you. The volunteers who operate it are very friendly and give lots of information. Great way to... More

This is an hour well spent. $1.00 for the whole trip. Conductors are funny and informational. They have great recommendations for eats and drinks.

The trolley is operated by volunteers, who provide a narrative of the sites as you travel. The trolley operates from where the cruise ships dock to the beginning of the downtown area, or approximately 1.3 miles (IIRC). We had planned on walking into town after exiting the trolley, but changed our plans. The problem was the heat and the crowds.... More
