Highly recommend you take the time to take the time to cross this bridge across the Columbia River to Washington State. The bridge crosses the shipping lane just prior to the river running into the Pacific Ocean. Lots of fun.

We crossed the bridge in April with no problem. No construction. No toll. When the bridge was paid for the toll was removed. Yes, you can get to the Long Beach Peninsula easily crossing the bridge. While there check out the light houses. North head is a favorite. Cranberry Museum is fun. Especially at harvest time in October.
