We had to drive across the bridge, we were not going anywhere but over and back. They are doing some work and I was hoping we would have been stopped so we could take some pictures, unfortunately we were not stopped by the construction crew!...More

A massive span over the Columbia River, the bridge ties the landscape together with structural beauty and strength.

This is a must-drive across this bridge experience! One is awed by the beauty and power at the mouth of the Columbia River and the engineering, architecture, and construction of this massive bridge. Especially cool for folks who come from dry climates.

The ride over the bridge was fun. I was expecting it to be scary based on some of the reviews but I didn't find it to be at all. It was a nice drive over and to look out over the water was quite beautiful....More

Wow! Is it big and long. You really can't miss it when you go to Astoria. There was a major back-up when we were there with roadwork on the bridge.

We spent 3 days in Astoria and went back and forth over the bridge at least 6 times just because we loved the gorgeous views and the circular entry on the Astoria side.

To get across the river you must drive over the bridge. Great views for the passengers. Too bad no pullouts. If not interested in visiting on the Washington side simply drive over and take a right turn at the light on the Washington side. There...More

We visited Astoria in June. This bridge is nice one with spectacular views! I am not a fan of bridges by the way but this one is good

You could see a big part of the bridge from the The Astoria Column, which is overlooking the Columbia River but not all.

They are and will be until 2017 if I recall the signs right. I do not recall a low overhang clearance, at least nothing any conceivable vehicle would worry about.
