I lived in Jax most of my life, but somehow never visited. It's small so you can tour it and explore it rather quickly, if you don't do the trails. Great views of the river, too!

Went to visit the fort and learn about the history. You can take a ferry across the river to,see the plantation.

Nice place for a long walk. Very interesting and attractive. You can get beautiful pictures. Make sure to get a spray to avoid the insects.
