I visit this little isolated spot whenever I want to be alone with my thoughts. There are a lot of beautiful birds and soft alcoves of beaches with amazing view of blue water. It is mice to talk to the local fishermen about their catches of the day. Also take time for the bike trail and see the rustic look... More

Nice beach but it is a long walk down wooden piers to get to it. I enjoy the closer beach acceded better.

This is a gorgeous park with a great 4 mile hike. The hike begins to the left just before you get to the entrance station. It's beautiful and your walk begins in a shady hammock full of birds and takes you past dunes before ending on the beach. Loved it and plan to return in May.

A lovely State Park and a good place to visit. As with all of the State Parks in this area of Florida very good facilities and well maintained. Certainly recommend a visit.

Used our Popup camper for some time away. We enjoyed a reasonable buffer between us and our neighbors. Oak hammock was wonderful. We used our camp as a base to walk, bike, and kayak. Make sure you pack in all that you need for your time away. True real store is 10 miles away. Firewood was $7 at ranger station.... More

I've hiked the trail several times last year, and camped once. The camping is across A1A from the main park entrance. It was quiet and shaded. Watch out for the squirrels though! In the time it took me to make a trip to the bathroom, they made off with chips and coffee creamer. (Yes...powdered creamer...found by a tree with a... More

We had booked a space on the campground (with a tent) but as the weather turned out for the worst we decided to cancel and stay in a hotel instead. We did go to this State Park for some hiking. Turned out that the space we had booked was a very beautiful one. We did the nature trail that starts... More

We go out here a few times a year since it's a short drive. Good beach combing, surfing, fishing, and swimming. We always find great treasures out here on the shore.

Little Talbot Island State Park has a beautiful drive through the dunes as well as several nice beaches to visit. There are boardwalks or paths across the dunes from the parking areas to the beaches. Restrooms/dressing rooms are clean and well maintained. The beach we visited, I believe number 2, was a wide beach. There is not a lifeguard or... More

I never thought I would be given the change to talk about the place I was raised. Don't know if everyone will know this info, but it's facts. Years ago there was a North and a South Little Talbot Island Beach. After I was born in the City of Jacksonville, I resided at North Talbot Island until I was around... More
