Little Talbot Island State Park has a beautiful drive through the dunes as well as several nice beaches to visit. There are boardwalks or paths across the dunes from the parking areas to the beaches. Restrooms/dressing rooms are clean and well maintained. The beach we visited, I believe number 2, was a wide beach. There is not a lifeguard or... More

I never thought I would be given the change to talk about the place I was raised. Don't know if everyone will know this info, but it's facts. Years ago there was a North and a South Little Talbot Island Beach. After I was born in the City of Jacksonville, I resided at North Talbot Island until I was around... More

The Spanish cover trees, lush tropical setting are picturesque, to say the least, but the after-hours beach access leaves much to be desired. If you are one who enjoys watching the sunrise and sunset yet one who doesn't enjoy quite a hike to get there, you won't be pleased. The park is divided. On one side of the road is... More

A beautiful place. There is a small entrance fee of $5.00 but it is worth it. The park and beach are very nice. Its is very quiet there.

Very nice quiet beach...long and peaceful. If you enjoy shells there are plenty. Even in February...it was fun to see the kids out surfing

This is a wonderful state Park, with trails through the woods and on the beach. If you are looking for natural beauty and the way nature naturally changes the landscape, this is the park for you.

Florida does state parks right. This is an award winning park that is "wild" but with all the facilities one needs...camping, swimming, hiking, fishing and a fabulous beach. It is my Florida favorite.

Little Talbot Island State Park is a rare adventure. It still remains beautiful and untouched even though it is such a wonderful place to visit for wind surfing, laying on the beach, taking a walk or flying a kite!

We were quite surprised at how simple, unspoiled, and truly beautiful the beach area was. Quivering sea foam met us on this windy day. Colors were muted and sea and sky blurred together in the midst even though it was mid-day. Few people and the fine white sand which squeaked in places made our walk memorable. Entrance cost of $5...
