We stayed in our 25 foot class c motorhome. The park entrance road is two lanes wide accommodating for larger units. There are great multiple parking areas for beach access including parking lots that can accommodate oversize parking for motorhomes and trailers. The beach is...More
Nice family campground. Multiple showers and restrooms, laundry, playground and even a campground store (Closed Mondays). Nice walk to the beach, which of course is beautiful. We plan on making this a regular stop.
It also has some really great camping spots, all under a wooded canopy and most with trees and plants between you and your neighbor. Awesome bike and hiking trails and a lot of big empty beach for roaming.
Although we visited off tourist season, this was a good place to find parking and enjoy a very clean beach free from Jacksonville crowds.
Parking was easy to find at several spots.

It's been a cold, windy, day but being here for a long weekend we at least wanted to visit the shore.
This park is more of destination for camping than for beach goers- if we lived close enough to camp here we would do it!...More

No cable or wifi. Digital antenna or mobile hotspot. If you have Xfinity you can use the app and get the hotspot available that is open (again, only for Xfinity/Comcast customers) that, I've found, is not accessible from every site. Since the park is adjacent to a neighborhood the closer you are to the South side of the campground the more accessibilty increases for use of the Xfinity hotspot.
