Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, forever home for endangered big cats, and to educate the public about their plight in the wild and captivity. We do not breed, sell, or trade any of our animals. Our current residents include tigers, lions, cougars, leopards, bobcats, foxes, and coatimundis (the last two are "honorary cats"). We are only open on select days, and last admittance is 45 minutes before closing, so please check our website for the most up-to-date information.

Lions Tigers and Bears? OH MY!

Wow, what a great place. The owner rescues big cats and even has a couple of young ones. Its a lot of dirt, so wear hiking shoes.

I read the reviews beforehand but seeing it in person made me realize that it really was incredible to see that many tigers in one place. Must see! The volunteers were enthusiastic and very friendly.

Not as much walking as I had feared; more standing than walking. When we arrived, 2 men in the parking lot guided us to a parking space. The most enjoyable thing for me was the volunteer staff, some of whom are comedians and all of whom enjoy their work. Their love of the animals is infectious. The feeding at 7:30... More

This is a marvelous educational opportunity for all ages. This is an IRS 501(c3) charity supported sanctuary. A short video is provide prior to the tour, followed by an in-depth tour of the animals, including tigers, lions, foxes, panthers, etc. The animals are very well cared for and is completely supported by donations. The tour cost $10 per person and... More

What a great operation. No, it is not Disney Animal Kingdom. If you want to see tigers in their natural habitat go there or take a safari. This operation is different. The cats are caged. But their enclosures are big and look well maintained. Many of the cats are not in top physical shape, which is why these folks take... More

Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a neat place! Easy to find and no hassle parking. We visited the ranch on a Sunday afternoon just looking for something different to do on a gorgeous day. The ranch is a wildlife sanctuary primarily for exotic cats. They have Siberian Tigers, Lions, Cougars, Black and Asian Leopards, Bobcats, Foxes and Coatimundi. The... More

Pretty cool place! Place was easy to find. Parking was a breeze, so was checking in. We went to the night feeding. That was crazy! You can get pretty close to the animals and still feel safe... There are various types of big cats there. I liked that all the proceeds went to keep the place running. At first I... More

Get up close and see these magnificent animals - lions, tigers and coatimundi, oh my. The night feedings are a lot of fun to watch. The owner, Curt, has an amazing rapport with these animals. Learn why you shouldn't jump back when a tiger turns to spray! This is a great outing for the whole family!

This place has been around a while and does a great job of educating people about the proper care of big cats and other animals people think would be fun as pets.
