Nestled along the gorgeous St. Johns River in Downtown Jacksonville, The Jacksonville Landing is home to year-round entertainment, a wide variety of waterfront dining options and a cozy inside shopping mall all of which are sure to complete an afternoon or evening of fun. For more than 25 years, The Jacksonville Landing has been the spot to stop in downtown Jacksonville.

The Landing hosts more than 600 events each year including Florida/Georgia Weekend Celebrations, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, New Year’s Eve and TaxSlayer Bowl Celebrations, St. Patrick’s Day and July 4th. Weekly events include live weekend entertainment in the center courtyard offering a variety of music including classic rock, oldies, contemporary, jazz, and top 40. The Landing also hosts a myriad of events for the community such as charity walks and runs and the Earth Day Ecology Fair. There is always something going on at The Jacksonville Landing, and a complete list of all Landing events can be found in the events section.

Restaurants at The Landing provide a great view of the gorgeous St. Johns River. Visiting each restaurant is like experiencing a different cuisine and a different atmosphere each time you make your way to Downtown Jacksonville. All of the restaurants are open seven-days-a-week for lunch and dinner with the exception of Village Bread Cafe, which is open for breakfast and lunch. The Landing is also home to Mavericks Live, a nightclub which offers a variety of late-night entertainment plus national concert acts for a fun night full of dancing and good times.

We took a taxie on the water and it took us to the landing. Its was very nice. The weather was nice. We walked around in the landing and there were lots of nice restaurants to pick from. The weather was great and the view of Jax was beautiful the river was beautiful. We ate at Hooters because we wanted... More

This spot is located in downtown Jacksonville. Parking is plentiful and reasonable. It's a nice space to walk around and catch a meal. There were a variety of different types of restaurants. I believe that they have concerts there, there's a huge outdoor stage there. Also, you can catch the water taxis from there at a couple of places. The... More

I just returned to work downtown after being gone for over 10 years. I thought I would spend my lunch break wandering around The Landing like I used to. It was so disappointing. The place is run down and empty. The AC barely worked and most of the shops are closed. Unless you are headed there for a specific event,... More

I am from out of state and it has been a long time since I have been to Jacksonville Landing. I brought 3 of my friends to the Times Union - Terry Theater and really bragged about the Jax Landing and how we could grab a bite to eat there. Wow, was I embarrassed. It was so dirty looking, only... More

We used to frequent The Landing for dinner or just drinks but now we never go. It used to be a great place to pull up in our boat, but we were there this past weekend and the dock is in such disrepair my husband refused to pull up. Plus there are so many places that are closed, the property... More

We had a beautiful day, we walked the river area and parking was close by The indoor shops were nice. There is a great visitors center inside and the lady was very helpful and we learned about the skywalk which we did do, it was a nice view of the city.

I remember when the Landings was bustling with nice stores and entertainment. We used to visit often, eat dinner, take the free ferry, and enjoy our surroundings. Most of the stores and restaurants are closed. Three are some off brand, unknown shops where we were not even acknowledged when we walked in. We saw a water taxi, but not the... More

Both Bennys and Fionn MacCools Irish Restaurants are located in Jacksonville Landing, and they are both terrific. But other than that, there isn't much to Jacksonville Landing anymore. Its a ghost town and that's too bad, because it could be a great place for individuals and families.

Benny's, Chicago pizza and the Irish pub were good places to eat. The mall part is pretty run down and empty. Other than that pretty quiet place. Good place to watch sunset
