Nice Views

Nice views across the river. The walk offers a place to jog or take pictures. Some reviews have mentioned homeless folks there but saw no signs of them on our trip.

We often walk to the river walk and have the kids ride bikes or just stroll and enjoy the view. Its usually breezy and a very nice feature of jacksonville

This is one of the best and most beautiful walks in a downtown area of a major city in the United States. It is beautiful both day and night. The views of Jacksonville skyline are stunning. The walk hugs the St. Johns River and at one point - under the Main Street Bridge - one finds themselves even with the... More

We drove about an hour south to see The Riverwalk here in Jacksonville- How disappointing!! There is absolutely nothing here except a few hotels and a couple restaurants, most of which are closed- The highlite was Dinky Donuts!!!! At this time, I don't think I would walk back across the street to return.

Great view across to downtown Jacksonville. Came to visit our friends and see their hometown and this place is amazing!

Walked from Jacksonville Landing to the Cummer and back. On the way you'll get to see, first hand, some of the homeless folk that live and hang out along this walk. Did I feel threatened? Nope. But I certainly wouldn't be walking along here alone at night. The walk takes in some amazing urban views... under the bridges, over railway... More

The riverwalk is currently under construction so access was limited near the hotel. The walk passes by several of the bridges over the river. There is a small park with restroom facilities along the walk. That was helpful. The walk is used by both visitor and locals. It is a popular spot during the lunch hour.

It has little charm, other than it is a great improvement from how trashy it used to be. It is not a safe place. It crawls with those looking for your $, who would commit a crime to get it. I do not recommend this for anything but large groups that can protect themselves. Please don't bring your children here... More

We parked under the highway bridge in Riverside (parking lot right next to the Cummer Museum of Art) where this portion of the Riverwalk begins and walked all the way to the 3rd bridge (it is BLUE metal, can't miss it) and across there. The blue bridge has a pedestrian walking "lane". On the other side is Friendship Park, very... More
