I’ve been mountain biking in GRSP for years. The State has made significant improvements to the roads system in the park. No vehicle traffic just double and single track riding. I’ve seen gators, pigs, deer, bobcat, snakes and all manner of birds riding the park....More

Hard to find when using Google maps. Look for crosswalks. $3.00 parking fee. Beautiful beach with unbelievable shells and shark teeth. Can be very cool when there is no sun.

Actually the shells were everywhere. Relatively uncrowded beach/nature preserve. Loved the views and the breeze. There were a few who had been out surfing, and a few out walking but mostly people digging through the shells.

This is probably one of the coolest places locally to view a majority of the local fowl all in one place. If you go for a short paddle you'll see spoonbills, osprey, gulls, ducks, coot, heron, storks and whatever you can spot. There is also...More

Great beach, little traffic, although you do virtually take your life into your hands to cross the highway to get into the park. It's a roll of the dice whether the snowbirds will yield to you or not...otherwise the beach itself is absolutely gorgeous
