A tour of Eleanor Roosevelt's life as much as a tour of her house. Well preserved and well presented by the NPS. Beautiful grounds in the fall.

Elenoar Roosevelt was a wonderful First Lady. Loved Val-kil, so much history on Elenoar after JDR Passed away.

Fascinating insight into Eleanor and people around her. Her life was so much more than the presidency. Lots of details and a feel for day-to-day life. Nothing fancy or glamorous. Not polished. I would recommend this place.

YES!!! Just below the cottage is the outdoor fireplace where FDR grlled. The family loved picnics, so the area is for pinics. There are at least 2 picnic tables, as well as grass for blankets. A great place to feel part of... More
