Eleanor is one of our heroes and the Val-Kill Cottage tour gave us new insights into what an admirable person she was. We need someone like her again in this country.

If you are into history of the US, this is a very interesting site. Our Park Ranger, Ken, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate in his sharing of information to us. I would highly recommend this stop.

This is our favorite Hyde Park site, mainly because the interpretation is so well done. You really feel as though you come away with a true understanding of the times and what happened there.

Learn more about eleonor Roosevelt by visiting her private home just two Miles from the Franklin Roosevelt memorial. It’ is a cosy place with intimity. Take the tour and visit the house. Rember her everlasting legacy!

When open, you need to reserve early that day at the Center. Very worthwhile trip and one not to miss. Gives new insight into a woman oft-misunderstood. Probably the early and original independent woman.
