The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum has so much to see! I think a half a day may give you enough time to visit and do it justice - we had a half hour. The guard was very helpful - he marked up a museum map so we could create our own highlights tour. I recommend this methodology... More

This museum was fantastic. In order to appreciate all it has to offer, plan to spend at least an entire full day. The displays are great and very interesting. The video segments educational and the Japanese exhibit wonderful. Do not miss the outdoor sculpture by Winston Churchill's granddaughter. Also the Berlin wall outdoors.

I have traveled to most all presidential libraries and this one is one of the best. There so much to see and enjoy. The childhood home of FDR is amazing. Hard to put into words the sense of history and beauty that you will see. The Rangers are very knowledgeable and friendly. Fantastic all around.

Take in the Museum, the house, the trails and stop by the rose garden and the gravesites. It's a moving and rewarding visit for any American. It's a place that shows our greatness.

Wonderfully laid out progressing through his presidential years. Video presentations just superb. Admission ticket covers 2 days and that's a good thing since there is so much there.

The ranger guided tour of the home was outstanding. We then had time to go into the library/museum on our own, which was very well done.

The museum holds your interest with a mix of documents, well done graphics and displays, videos and interactive settings. The cafe has a nice selection of lunch items with indoor and outdoor seating. The New Deal store has a good selection of books and souvenir items. The museum is very close to FDR's home so it is possible to combine... More

Our goal is to visit all the presidential libraries and this is the third we have been to. FDR was the first president to establish a library. It is well planned out, lots of videos (he was president during the great depression and WWII) so very interesting subject matter. The library is on the beautiful grounds of the Roosevelt home... My daughter and I were in Hyde Park for lunch at the CIA and decided to spend the morning at the Museum. You can spend the whole day at the complex but since we only had two hours, we bought tickets just to the Presidential Museum. We also hit an exhibit about the Japanese-American Internment camps which was very informative.... More
