We had an amazing experience on this tour. Liz was amazing and played the role of Jenny's mother very well. You take a step back in time with the building, clothes and stories.

Of all the tours we took, this was my absolute favorite. The guides were wonderful and the story of Jennie and her family are interesting and a bit heartbreaking too. Highly recommend

Very interesting tour and Civil War story. Sad but true. We usually visit every time we are there. It helps us feel like we were there during that time.

Great tour guide! Scott—knowledge, warmth and engagement! He is a civil war expert and professor in the field. Don’t miss it and ask for Scott.

If you have time, it is worth the visit. However, I would rather spend more time at the Visitors center.

Service animals are permitted. However, the house is very small and has stairs. A stroller would not be feasible (very narrow).
