Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Gail led 10 of our family members on a private dinner. She and the tour were fantastic. She's engaging and knowledgeable, and the food was wonderful. The pizza at Food 101 is probably the best I've ever had in my life.
Highly recommend Savor Gettysburg Food Tours for a delicious and interesting introduction to downtown Gettysburg.

Gayle was an absolute delight when it came to this tour. As a former teacher, she definitely handled the group very well. As a food guide myself, this experience checked all the boxes one should look for in a great culinary tour. This is definitely worth the time and experience while in Gettysburg!

We loved the Savor Food Tours. Tour guide was excellent, and all the restaurants we visited were excellent. Our family enjoyed trying out the different foods.

Had a great time, our guide Gayle was great and she shared some history of downtown Gettysburg in between the delicious eats & drinks! Would highly recommend and would love to come back and do the Christmas tour someday!

I was in Gettysburg with 15 of my lady friends for a fun weekend away. Taking one of the Savor Gettysburg Food Tours is always tops on our list of things to do when we are in town. Twelve of the ladies were able to make it to Gettysburg in time on the Friday to take a food tour with Gayle, who is by far one of the best tour guides we've ever had for a food tour. Everyone had a great time and all of the food was delicious and Gayle provided us with tidbits of information adding to our knowledge of the battle, the town and the restaurants we visited. This is a definite tour to participate in if you head to Gettysburg for a day, a weekend or longer. Big thumbs up from me and all who attended the ladies' weekend with me!!

This is a great tour. You will visit 6 different restaurants on your walk and all offer different fare but all are terrific. We started at Tacos Monarca had Birra Tacos which were fantastic start. Then went to Food101 and I've been wanting to go there and will definition go back. At Food 101 we had Slice of fennel sausage and broccolini pizza. I know it sounds different and I may not have selected it but it was fabulous. Then to Gary Owen Irish Pub for incredible Shepherds Pie and cider. It was warm and melted in your mouth. This place is so cool you'll feel like you're in Ireland. Then you'll have a bit of a walk down Balt St to Reids Winery and Tasting room. We enjoyed the wine and cider tastings paired with cheese, fruit and candy. Then off to The Cottage Crepery and sat on the front porch and enjoyed pumpkin crepe as well as a pear crepe. Both had a beautiful presentation and we met the owner, Lori, who loves promoting Gettysburg and does a great job of it. We ended at Mr Gs for ice cream. The night before there was a line of 30 people waiting do we knew it was going to be great and it was.
Now about the walk. Our guide was Kari and she is so nice and seems to genuinely care about each business. She was so knowledgeable about interesting tidbits of places we walked by and kept us entertained for 3 hours. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with out of town guests or just visiting because you will probably try places you've never been to. I will go back to reach place because each was perfect. The walk itself is about a mile out and a mile back to your car but it's a very easy walk and not strenuous at all.

This is an absolute must in Gettysburg. We had been on the Christmas tour and it was totally different.
Our tour guide, Kari, was personable and knowledgeable. The stops we made were well planned and unique, and the walk was totally do-able for all of us.
Stops included tacos, pizza, shepherds pie and cider, wine and cider with pairings, a delicious crepe, and ice cream.
This is a great way to see a new place, or try something new in a town you're familiar with.

Our guide, Kari, gave us great tour to 6 different local restaurants. And she accommodated our food allergies. Gave us some good history notes as well.

We are coming to Gettysburg in late October. Are reservations suggested?

Yes please! Reservations are required for every tour. September and October are typically our busiest months here in Gettysburg because of the beautiful fall foliage. All reservations can be made directly online on our website. We look forward to seeing you in October!
