Visiting the museum in seeing the oil painting cyclorama that was painted in 1884 is really something to see. Also I would highly recommend taking a bus ride from the visitor center is them with a licensed battlefield tour guide which is so much better...More

My group of four bought the full pass of the museum, video and cyclorama. We showed up later on in the afternoon near closing so were pleased to hear that the ticket could be used again the next day. I would suggest watching the video...More

If you're going to visit the battlefield, start here. The short film narrated by Morgan Freeman is excellent. You are then taken upstairs to the cyclorama of Pickett's Charge, which is very impressive. There are lights and sounds that add to the 360 degree painting....More

The cycloroma is a must see. Amazing! We really enjoyed the museum learning about all the figures in the battle in Gettysburg during the civil war. A must visit if you are planning a trip to the area.

I would suggest starting at the Visitors Center and learn all about the battlefield before you start the auto Tour. Take everything in and it will help you better as you travel on. Its a big place but nice and clean even with many bus...More

Oh this was a GREAT experience, I have no idea how a painter from over 150 years ago painted this complete with the special effects, but wow it is GREAT!! A MUST SEE!! To get the feeling that you are at the battle scene!
